Well, on Saturday we visited our Kazakh Teacher's family for a traditional "Becbarmak", which consist of a giant rolled noodle with carrots and onions tucked inside, horse sausage wrapped in a thick intestines lining, really salty (love it) broth, potatoes, carrots, huge chunks of fat and Omis (don't ask what this is you don't want to know).
I usually really enjoy this meal, but I have a hard time justifying the amount of fat in it! But, I really don't have a choice. So, I just enjoy!
This time around though the horse meat sausage meal was enjoyed all through may CrossFit workout!
Sat: For 12 min. on the minute. Here is the formula. Or find it on www.crossfit.com.
1st min do squats no more then 60.
2nd min. subtract our squats from 60 and do the result in pull ups.
3rd min. squats for a min.
4th min. subtract our squats from 60 and do that number in push ups.
okay, now alternate until you have finished the 12 minutes...doesn't sound bad, but squats for me are killer. I have distance runner/rock climber legs...ouch!
